It's important to note that the retention strength of these fittings is approximately 50% of the Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of the wire to which they are attached. Aluminum is most suitable for use with mild steel, galvanized steel, and high tensile steel wires or wire ropes, but it is not recommended for use with stainless steel.
