Thanks to its modular structure and side slots, this training cylinder is perfect for teaching yourself how to pick challenging locks and pushing your skills further - brilliant, precise fine mechanics from Multipick, Made in Germany, Made in Bonn.
Even in its standard pin configuration this practice lock is a genuine challenge, and you decide the degree of difficulty at any time via the fastening screws. Re-pinning is easy: loosen the grub screws with the supplied Allen key, swap the springs and pins, and screw everything back in - your next challenge is ready. The set includes a 50-piece pinning kit and a pair of tweezers so you can instantly adapt the cylinder to your own needs, and it remains compatible with Multipick's other pinning kits.
The cylinder is slotted on one side only, with the other side left closed to increase the difficulty - so you can choose to train visually or entirely by feel. Only very high-quality, precise cylinder locks are used in production, making this an ideal learning platform for locksport beginners through to trainee locksmiths. Note: if using an electric pick gun, check the grub screws regularly as vibration can loosen them.
