Its special highlight is the left-sided cutaway, adapted to the mounting position of cylinder locks on American and Canadian doors, so you can authentically experience and learn to pick locks in the inverted position. The left-slotted design also offers a fresh challenge for experienced pickers, and together with Multipick's right-slotted models it optimally supports the practice needs of right- and left-handers alike. Even the standard pin configuration takes real know-how to pick, and the degree of difficulty can be adjusted at any time via the fastening screws.
Re-pinning is easy: loosen the grub screws with the supplied Allen key, replace the springs and pins, and screw everything back in. A 50-piece pinning kit and tweezers are included, and the cylinder is compatible with Multipick's additional pinning kits including spool and security pins for endless new challenges. Multipick recommends the Centurion vise for secure holding during practice.
The cylinder is slotted on one side only, with the closed side available to train entirely by feel through the half-open design. Only very high-quality, precise cylinder locks are used in production. Note: if using an electric pick gun, check the grub screws regularly as vibration can loosen them.
